FAQ’s

What is the difference between synthetic hair extensions versus human hair extensions?
Synthetic hair looks and feels like Barbie doll hair. It will hold its style until you alter it with steam or heat. One must be very careful with very hot temperatures. Human hair looks and feels like just that… human hair. It feels silkier and can be styled with heating tools, just like human hair.
What is the difference between Indian Hair Extensions and other Human Hair?
Indian (from India) hair is round/oval in shape, smaller in diameter than Chinese (the most like Caucasian), straight in curl pattern and black or black/brown in color. It is authentically more lustrous and thicker than other types of human hair providing a better more complimentary blend with Ethnic Hair. Indians have a longer hair growth cycle which also adds to the longevity and durability of the hair.
Why buy Virgin Indian Hair?
Virgin Indian hair the highest quality human hair available. Hair is healthy, cuticle correct, 100% human hair. Virgin hair is the natural origin of a person’s hair. The high quality occurs because hair has never been chemically processed resulting in thickness, smoothness and manageability. Virgin hair cuticles all lie in one direction. Hair is also tangle free and lasts longer than any other hair on the market today.
How much hair do I need to purchase?
Hair is sold in 3.5oz bundles. If you are getting a full head of extensions added, it is ideal to purchase two packs to ensure you have enough. You can always use remaining hair later. If you are using hair longer than 18" long you may need 3 packs. When adding only length, one pack will suffice.
How long does Indian Hair last?
With proper install and maintenance, our hair can last as long as a year. However, how long and how often you reuse your hair is a personal choice. Ordinarily hair can last up to 3 uses, meaning it can be weaved and worn for up to two months, then taken down and re-installed at least two more times.
Can I style my Virgin Indian hair?
Hair can be styled as desired, and as often as desired. Our hair can be blown dry, permed, and flat ironed. You can also color this hair. It is best to get your chemical process done first and at least 72 hours before your extensions. The most important thing is to not get any chemicals in the attachments. Human hair extensions will react to chemicals just like your own human hair.
Will hair extensions damage my hair?
Ponytail holders, clips, hair extensions or any foreign object attached to your hair can cause a certain degree of damage. However, with proper maintenance you can minimize that problem. The more gently you treat your hair extensions, the less damaging it will be. Some things to consider: The wider the attachment, the more risk of damage. The smaller the attachment, the less potential damage.
